Dilip Dsouza studied Engineering at BITS Pilani and Computer Science at Brown University. After several years in software, he now writes for a living — on political and social issues, travel, mathematics and sports. He has won several fellowships and awards for his writing (the Newsweek/Daily Beast Prize for South Asian Commentary 2012, Outlook/Picador Nonfiction Prize 2005, Wolfson College/Cambridge University Press Fellowship 2001 and several more) and has published seven books (most recently, “Jukebox Mathemagic: Always One More Number”, from Juggernaut, September 2016). He lives in Bombay with his wife Vibha and their children Sahir and Surabhi. Cats Cleo and Aziz rule.
