She is the author of In the Bonesetter’s waiting Room: travels through Indian medicine, commissioned as part of Wellcome Collection’s 2016 Tabiyat: Medicine and Healing in India exhibition; Like A Virgin: how science is redesigning the rules of sex; and a contributing author to Prof Jim Al-Khalili’s What’s Next? Even Scientists Can’t Predict the Future – or Can They? She has been a science advisor to the British Council, and has written and presented documentaries for the BBC, National Geographic and the Discovery Channel. She is based in the Division of Biosciences at University College London.
