Meena Menon is former deputy editor, The Hindu and a journalist for over three decades, starting with Bombay magazine in 1984. She has worked for United News of India, Mid-day, The Times of India, and is the author of Reporting Pakistan (Penguin Randomhouse 2017) and Riots and After in Mumbai(Sage 2012) and co- author of A Frayed History, The Journey of Cotton in India(OUP 2017). She has written extensively on environment, development and politics and was Pakistan correspondent for The Hindu in 2013-14.
